Cannabis in Indiana
Cannabis is not legal in Indiana. Currently, only low-THC CBD (including no more than 0.3% THC) derived from industrial hemp is permitted in CBD oil form within the state. However, it must include specific labelling information certifying that it has been tested and was not derived from cannabis as well as a QR code that links to a document with information on the ingredients, batch, and name of the company that manufactured those ingredients.

Anyone in possession of any amount of cannabis is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable with a maximum fine of $1,000 and 180 days in jail. The punishment increases for people with prior drug offenses. Low-THC CBD products with less than 0.3% THC are exempt from criminal punishment.
