Cannabis has not been decriminalized in Wyoming. Simply being under the influence could be penalized as a misdemeanor with up to six months in jail and a maximum fine of $750. Possession of 3 oz. or less is a misdemeanor penalized with a maximum fine of $1,000 and up to 12 months in jail. Possession of more than 3 oz. of cannabis is a felony punishable with up to 5 years in prison and a maximum fine of $10,000.

Registered Medical Patient Possession: Patients with a Hemp Extract Registration Card issued by the Wyoming Department of Health may possess unspecified amounts of high-CBD, low-THC hemp extracts.

Personal Growing

Personal growing is not allowed in Wyoming.
